The Start Menu makeover will also bring Windows 10’s desktop interface in line with Microsoft’s Windows 10X, which ditches Live Tiles for app icons. I personally like the new sleeker and simplified Start menu, plus the new icons are a big improvement. This new UI makeover is intended to take the colourful tile and make it “uniform,” both in light and dark modes.
